Florence remains one of my favorite cities I've lived in and I always try to visit whenever I can. While some of my favorite places are still there (and just as good), it's exciting to see new ideas and places take off.
Cool Hunting's Word of Mouth series visits Florence and among it's selection are a new boutique hotel, a wellness center and a Chinese/Italian restaurant.
Whats funny is I remember when I lived there in the 80s, there was only one Chinese restaurant, no fast food and the only options were Italian otherwise. About once a month we'd reach Italian capacity and head to the Chinese restaurant that was down an alley near the Duomo.
