This month's finds include some incredible new shows by one of my favorite artists Ai Weiwei (made out of Legos!) and an updated home in Wedgewood by local firm Best Practice. Plus below are some of our favorite bakeries to check-out in Seattle!
A good bakery is a necessity, and fortunately Seattle has more than its share. From traditional French pastries to delicacies that draw on the city’s Asian and Scandinavian heritages to gluten-free shops, you can find anything you like here, and plenty of baked goods you probably had no idea even existed.
This past month saw some really exciting MidCentury Modern homes come to market (finally!) -- including a fully-updated property in Bellevue's Entai neighborhood and a West Seattle home that sold for $500k (25%!!) over list!

Lunar New Year Celebration
February 22
Don’t miss this Lunar New Year celebration in Hing Hay Park in Seattle’s Chinatown-International District (CID). From 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. there will be vendor booths, lion dances, live music and performances, and businesses participating in a neighborhood food walk.
The Seattle Home & Garden Show is the Northwest’s largest consumer home show with everything for the home – indoors and out – the shows present hundreds of exhibits including builders, remodelers, the latest appliances and fixtures, decorating, landscaping…everything from floor to ceiling and beyond. Attendees also enjoy special features including seminars and wine tasting.
