Hello September!
Making the Most of the Season. Seattle summers always seem to pass a little too quickly. So as August winds down and we head into early fall, Wilson and I try to make the most of these last beautiful weeks with one of our favorite traditions: a Pacific Northwest road trip.
Over the years, we’ve explored the coast, islands, mountains, wine country and plenty of places in between—always with Hibiki along for the ride. It’s one of our favorite things about living in Seattle. Within a few hours, you can find yourself somewhere that feels completely different, then come home with a renewed appreciation for where we live.
September also brings a change of pace in real estate. After the quieter weeks of late summer, we typically see buyers and sellers re-engage and the market find a little more momentum. That can mean fresh listings, renewed buyer activity and new opportunities on both sides of the market as we move through the fall.
That spirit of getting out, looking around and seeing what’s possible inspired this month’s edition of Modernae. We’re sharing our latest road trip, a look at the September market, and a few homes and ideas that caught our attention along the way.
